Freshman Fears

Fear is an feeling everyone has when brought to pain or a terribly real or image of horror. Freshman fears are like horror with other people, highschool by itself is imagined scary to kids.

“When I was a freshman I was scared of being left out of a lot of activities because i'm a freshman”. Said Kayla figures

Freshman year wasn’t hard but it wasn’t easy either, the after school activities I participated in was football and track at the time so it wasn’t hard fitting in. Also when I started summer camp of football I came in doing great, making everyone notice me and my talent. Saying that to say, I got known quickly from other athletes to females.

“I’m not afraid of upper class men because my sister graduated from here, so who she knew at the school I knew and they knew me”. Said Alexa Christenson

When I came to this school i didn’t know anybody at all. Once I started summer camp i started to know a lot of people, I was scared at first meeting new people and after I moved from the city out to the suburbs.

“I thought the bathrooms were going to be cleaner than my middle school bathrooms, but NO!.”

When i first stepped into the school they were clean but the stalls weren’t clean, it had dirty language on the walls also. School bathrooms have always had a bad rep. They’re well known for being unkempt and not that well taken care of during the week of school. Weekends I have no idea whatsoever.

“When i see a jock I just see him or her, walk past if so I know them then a hug or a hey is given”. Said Kaitlyn Branch

Since I was a talented football player coming in school already known I didn’t have any problems with anyone so called as a “jock”. I could say I was considered one also to other students,coaches and teachers that were into high school football.

“Making friends was really easy for me because I’m a cool and smart person and fun to be around”. Said Brittney Jordan

Friends friends friends, so much to say about them but this isn’t that kind of story is it? No, it’s not unfortunately this is a story about freshman fears, friends could be discussed though because of the gain & lack sequence that goes on through highschool with different types and cultures of people surrounding you.

Those types of people that are creatively like you and I are the best of friends. Although they can’t help you with choosing other friends they can be there for you when you choose the wrong ones and comfort you.
