This brand new NBA season is much anticipated and shaping up to be another historic season!
Last year brought many enticing and intriguing moments and stories. Records were broken, there were tragic injuries, and a lot of highlights!
All-star Russell Westbrook broke the NBA record for triple doubles in a season, averaged a triple double and won league Most Valuable Player.
The league even hosted the first ever NBA Awards Show. Draymond Green won defensive player of the year and Malcom Brogdon Rookie of the Year.
Many basketball fans believe that the playoffs were not as exciting as the regular season. Both conference champions nearly swept through their opponents and the West took it home. The Golden State Warriors won in 5 games and were the champions.
This season many changes have been made. New rules have been applied and many players have been traded.
A new draft class has entered the league. With all these new changes, so many questions are to be asked:
Who will win it all? What changes will work and which won’t? People can make predictions but only time can tell what will happen. The National Basketball Association is a place where anything can happen.
Many people are excited for the season approaching. Three people were asked about their opinions on how the season will go.
“My favorite team is the Boston Celtics. They just got Kyrie and Gordon Hayward. I think they can compete for a championship,” says Kyron Ayers.
Most his answers were biased towards his favorite player, Kyrie Irving, but when asked about Rookie of the Year he is biased towards another player.
“Lonzo Ball, hands down is the best rookie in the NBA, without a doubt. Go Big Baller Brand,” said Ayers.
The opinions of the interviewees varied. It goes to show how diverse the NBA is and how deep one can get into it. When asked these questions Rontez gave many interesting points.
They were very open about the possible things that could happen. His answers were packed with depth and were realistic.
“The best team from the western conference is the Golden State Warriors, but don’t get it wrong, they can be beaten as we saw in 2016. Teams just have to plan and form the correct recipe to beat them. I believe with what the Minnesota Timberwolves have been doing, they can easily match up and dethrone the champions,” said Samuel Upton.
Basketball fans are ready for this season.
