What’s trending today? Don’t you want to be on the new fashion trend? What’s trending right now are oversized purses; they are to be held on your shoulder, or your wrist. The backpack bags are totally out of season. With the new Fall season approaching, the purse colors are to be dark, like black, gray, and dark purple. The summer colors are pink, light purple, blue, yellow, and green. The brands of purses that are in are Coach and Louis Vuitton, but of course they’re expensive. “I know that stripes are in, like vertically striped pants,” said student Nadia Perdue. Crop tops are also in, as they have been. They have been worn by Kylie Jenner, and by the Jenner-Kardashian families. The cutest crop tops are the ones with a bit of lace at the bottom, and so are the basic colors, with nothing on them, just the color itself. What sparks most people’s interests are the furry boots; they are faux fur boots with the fur sticking out on all sides. PINK brand attire is very in. It comes as undergarments, shirts, sweatpants, and even leggings. Victoria Secret is also another trending brand, like their perfume. Another big fashion trend is wearing a regular shirt with leggings, which seems to be the biggest fashion trend going on right now. “Slides are another thing to wear that are cool,” said student Elizabeth Conley. Putting up your hair, and styling it that way is another trend, also a life hack. It stays out of your way for the rest of the day so that you don’t have to keep messing with it and making sure it’s perfect. Staying involved in a sport or club is also a great way to see what’s going on at the school and stay on top of the latest trends. “Softball is a great sport to play if you need something to do after school, in the springtime,” said freshman Mayah Lopez. Another trend is to always of course keep up with the styles as they are changing; they can change every day, even every month, but the worst trend of all is the “dab.” Don’t do it. It’s not cool anymore, not even for teachers.
